Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PurePrep ("the App," "Service," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

PurePrep is a mobile application that provides meal planning, recipe management, and shopping list features. The Service allows you to:

• Save and organize recipes from websites
• Plan meals on a calendar
• Generate shopping lists
• Share recipes and meal plans with family members

Account Registration

To use PurePrep, you must create an account. We support sign-in via Google, Apple, or email with one-time verification code. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service.

Subscriptions

PurePrep offers subscription-based access to certain features through in-app purchases on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Subscription Plans and Pricing. PurePrep offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is displayed within the app at the time of purchase, in your local currency where available.

Free Trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial period at the start of their subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.

Auto-Renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method on file with Apple or Google will be charged automatically at renewal.

Managing Your Subscription. You can view your renewal date, manage your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal at any time through your account settings:

• iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → PurePrep
• Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → PurePrep

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple ID or Google Play account. PurePrep cannot cancel your subscription on your behalf.

Refunds. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google through your account settings, in accordance with their respective refund policies. PurePrep does not provide refunds for unused portions of a paid subscription period.

Subscription Changes. We may modify subscription pricing or features upon reasonable notice. Continued use of paid features after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect or harvest data from other users

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to PurePrep (recipes, meal plans, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

• Store and display your content within the App
• Share your content with family members you designate
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you submit. Do not submit copyrighted recipes or content without permission.

AI-Generated Content

PurePrep uses artificial intelligence to generate and extract recipes, ingredient lists, cooking instructions, nutritional estimates, and meal suggestions ("AI-Generated Content"). By using AI-powered features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• AI-Generated Content is not professional advice. Recipes, nutritional information, and cooking instructions produced by AI are for general informational and inspirational purposes only. They do not constitute medical, dietary, nutritional, allergy, or food safety advice.
• AI-Generated Content may contain inaccuracies. AI models can produce recipes that contain incorrect ingredient quantities, omit important steps, misidentify allergens, or suggest unsafe cooking times or temperatures. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any AI-Generated Content.
• You are responsible for verifying recipes before preparing or consuming them. Before cooking any AI-generated recipe, you should verify the ingredient list (especially for any food allergens or sensitivities affecting you, your family, or your guests), confirm that listed cooking times and temperatures are safe for the food being prepared, cross-reference unfamiliar techniques with trusted sources, and apply standard food safety practices for handling, storage, and internal cooking temperatures.
• Health and dietary information is not a substitute for professional consultation. If you have allergies, medical conditions, special dietary needs, or specific nutritional goals, consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before relying on PurePrep for meal planning decisions.
• No liability for AI errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PurePrep is not liable for any illness, allergic reaction, injury, or other harm arising from your use of, or reliance on, AI-Generated Content. By using AI-powered features, you accept this risk.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by PurePrep and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App without permission
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use our trademarks without written permission

Third-Party Content

PurePrep allows you to import recipes from third-party websites. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of recipe information
• Copyright issues related to third-party content
• The availability of third-party websites
• Food safety or dietary concerns

Always verify recipe information and follow safe food handling practices.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
• Recipe information is accurate or suitable for your dietary needs

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PurePrep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to your data
• Any bugs, viruses, or errors in the Service
• Any content obtained through the Service

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PurePrep, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right or privacy right
• Any content you submit to the Service
• Your negligence or willful misconduct

This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
• Change these Terms of Service
• Update features or functionality
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

We will provide notice of significant changes when possible.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms of Service.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
• Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

App Store Terms

The following additional terms apply depending on the platform through which you obtained PurePrep.

Apple App Store. If you obtained PurePrep from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and PurePrep only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for PurePrep or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for PurePrep.
• In the event PurePrep fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to PurePrep.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any product liability, intellectual property infringement, or consumer protection claims related to PurePrep.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

Google Play Store. If you obtained PurePrep from the Google Play Store, you also agree to abide by the Google Play Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Google Play's terms, these Terms shall govern with respect to your use of PurePrep, except where Google Play's terms specifically state otherwise.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PurePrep regarding the Service.
